Our philosophy
Here you're heard before you're coached,
met where you are before you're challenged.
If you've ever felt like no one really listened, you found your place. You don't need someone to fix you. You need someone in your corner who listens, adapts, and challenges you past the limits you've set for yourself or that others have led you to believe are real. Your voice matters here. Your feelings matter here. We figure it out together and show you how capable your body truly is.
That's CRF.
WHO ARE WE
CRF is not a gym. Not a Pilates studio. Not physical therapy.
It borrows from all of them and is limited by none of them.
Here, strength meets education and recovery meets performance.
Private, personal, and built entirely around you, your body, your history, your goals. This is real work with real progress, and someone fully in your corner every step of the way. You never have to do this alone, and even when you're ready to, CRF will always be with you.
THE LOTUS SYMBOL
Why the Lotus?
Because it captures everything CRF stands for in one image.
Just as the lotus rises from the mud and blooms, so can you.
In the CRF lotus, the darker petals symbolize where we begin; pain, imbalance, uncertainty. The lighter petals symbolize what's possible; clarity, strength, freedom. Together, they tell the story of transformation. They tell YOUR story.
Meet Cyn
The Woman Behind CRF
Movement Educator & Recovery Specialist
I'm Cyn, the guide and creator behind Core Rooted Fitness.
My journey has been anything but linear. From 2017 to 2019, I lived with chronic lower back pain. In 2018, I endured three ankle sprains in just three months. Now, I'm navigating perimenopause with curiosity and grace. Through it all, movement has remained my sanctuary and anchor.
At 16, a family member introduced me to weightlifting, teaching me how effort transforms into strength. Years later, martial arts taught me discipline and precision. In 2022, earning my black belt reminded me that strength and softness can coexist.
Pilates deepened my understanding of anatomy and sparked a curiosity that never stopped growing. These practices shaped how I teach today, integrating strength, mobility, and nervous system awareness into one cohesive approach.
Nearly ten years of teaching have shown me that transformation isn't tied to one method. It's the flow between them all; woven together into something greater than the sum of their parts.
I know what it's like to move through pain and find steadiness on the other side. My purpose is to help you reconnect with your body, rebuild trust in your strength, and rediscover ease in movement.
That is the heart of Core Rooted Fitness.
